Paralegal
Natalie Lawback joined Restore Legal in March 2021 as a paralegal, bringing with her over 25 years of experience in personal injury claims. She has worked with clients from a range of cultural backgrounds including the Aboriginal community.
Natalie loves personal injury law as she feels it is an area of law where your client can come from any walk of life and receive a fair and equitable outcome without discrimination. She enjoys getting to know her clients and assisting them to get the best possible result for their claim. Natalie is reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and up for any challenge. Outside of work she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Eve Lee-Roberts joined Restore Legal in July 2021 after finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Honours) and Behavioural Science (Psychology) at the Queensland University of Technology. Eve has over six years of experience in the legal industry as a law clerk and paralegal and has completed placements with Caxton Legal Centre and duty lawyers at the Family Law Court.
Eve has utilised her psychology degree in these roles to better understand and communicate with clients and has found that it has lent to her understanding of the psychology of trauma which is a recurrent feature in many of the clients who Restore Legal assists. She has also undertaken training on the interaction of Australia’s first peoples with the Australian legal system and Aboriginal perspectives of law. This, coupled with her immersion experience in the Cherbourg community and contract work to organise tertiary training, employment and mentoring for Indigenous persons with the view of engaging them in work on the construction and maintenance of the Inland Rail project has allowed her a better understanding of the needs and communication styles of Indigenous clients.
Eve is due to complete her Practical Legal Training in June of 2022 and then plans to be admitted as a solicitor.
